With over twenty years experience across health, education, disability and private practice, neurodivergent clinical psychologist Lydia Meem offers training and clinical supervision for clinicians around neurodiversity affirming practice, particularly in the areas of assessment (autism, ADHD, intellectual disability, learning differences), and tailoring supports and accommodations for neurodivergent children, adolescents, adults and their families.
Lydia is passionate about understanding and celebrating each individual's strengths and passions, and empowering our neurodivergent people and their families to advocate for supports and accommodations that meet their communication, social, sensory, learning and employment needs.
Lydia has created the Supporting Autistic Students course for teachers, the Neurodiversity Affirming Clinician online learning hub, and a range of webinars and resources for health, mental health and disability professionals to gain confidence in neurodiversity affirming practice, assessment, supports and accommodations.
Lydia hosts the Neurodivergent Clinician Symposium, a 2-day event with an all-neurodivergent line-up of health professionals sharing from both their clinical expertise and lived experience. Lydia is the author of Beyond IQ Scores: A handbook for clinicians providing neurodiversity affirming cognitive and developmental assessments.
