Sam is a neurodivergent psychologist who loves to work with children, adolescents and families using a neurodiversity affirming lens. She is experienced in assessment and strategies sessions around autism, ADHD, intellectual disability, anxiety, trauma, and demand avoidance presentations.
She enjoys working collaboratively with her clients, their parents, teachers and health professionals to implement supports and accommodations to build confidence and reduce overwhelm.
Sam has worked in early intervention and private practice settings. In addition to assessments, Sam enjoys working with her clients and families to develop emotional regulation skills including co-regulation strategies. Sam tailors her therapeutic approach to her clients’ interests, social communication and sensory preferences.
Sam is currently offering autism, attention, cognitive and adaptive assessments for children and adolescents, counselling for adolescents, and parent strategies consultations.
